Cluster Manager Days

26 - 27 May 2011, Linz/Austria

The "Eco-Innovation Cluster Partnership for Internationalisation and Growth (EcoCluP)” is the first pan-European partnership of cluster organisations focussing on eco-innovative industries encompassing waste, water, remediation, pollution control, environmental services, energy, sustainable transport and construction. The partnership represents most of Europe’s key clusters with a strong environmental portfolio with 13 cluster organisations participating from Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, The Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and the UK.

Important activities within the project are the annual "Cluster Manager Days". In 2011, the Cluster Manager Days took place in Linz (26 & 27 May), organised by the O.Ö. Energiesparverband/Oekoenergie-Cluster.

The Cluster Manager Days offer cluster managers the opportunity to meet their peers and exchange experiences, to share knowledge and to discuss practical issues in workshops and strategic exchange sessions. 15 cluster managers from Europe and Canada were participating in the Cluster Manager Days Linz.

The Cluster Manager Days were also used as a platform for the signing of the first EcoCluP Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), a cooperation agreement among EcoCluP clusters and other eco-innovative clusters.
