Energy poverty: advice and efficient appliances

In a new edition of the energy-saving programme for low-income households in Upper Austria, the action is being extended to three districts. The aim of this action is to reduce the electricity costs of low-income households in a long-term perspective through energy advice and the exchange of electrical appliances. The programme is managed by the OÖ Energiesparverband. During the previous edition of the programme, 256 families received energy advice and more than 200 household appliances were exchanged for new, high-efficiency models.
