• The project aims at triggering the starting-up of markets for solar process heat in six European regions.

• The "Eco-Innovation Cluster Partnership for Internationalisation and Growth" is the pan-European partnership of cluster organisations from 10 EU countries (including the OEC) in the eco-innovation field.
• The project is supported by the Europe INNOVA programme.
• The project aims to adapt, test and implement sector-specific cluster support tools and services for fast-growing businesses thus creating better opportunities for the cluster companies to grow and internationalise.

The O.Ö. Energiesparverband will organise an international training seminar on "Biomass heating – market development and technologies" between 15 - 17 September 2010. The seminar is especially meant for representatives of businesses, public bodies, institutions, NGOs etc. from countries where the market for automatic biomass heating is in an early stage. The 3-day seminar will provide know-how on local market development and technologies for automatic biomass heating systems, based on the experience in Austria.

The international conference World Sustainable Energy Days, held from 3 to 5 March 2010 in Wels/Austria, was again a great success with over 750 participants from 51 countries. The WSED, organised by the O.Ö. Energiesparverband included the European Pellet Conference, the largest annual pellet conference in the world.

The World Sustainable Energy Days 2011 will take place from 2- 4 of March 2011 in Wels.

For the first time, the Oekoenergie-Cluster will organise a group stand at an exhibition in the USA. Three companies will present their innovative solar thermal technologies at the Intersolar North America, which will take place from 13 to 15 July 2010 in San Francisco.
